Studio group
For artists and other makers who spend long stretches working alone and would like company that understands it.
The studio group is a small weekly group led by one clinician. It is a place to talk about your work and your life, and to hear how other people live with theirs. It is not a class and not a critique, and nobody has to show their work.

What to expect
How it works, and what it is not
The method
This is group therapy: your clinician guides the conversation, and members listen and speak in turn. You are never asked to share more than you want to.
What this is not
The group is not a critique circle, a workshop or a networking night. It is not a crisis service: if you are in crisis, call or text 988.
How often and how long
The group meets weekly on Thursday evenings. You can join when a place is open, and you can leave when you choose.
How it is paid
Group fees differ from individual fees. We give you the fee in writing before you join.

Questions
A few questions about this service
Is it a class?
No. There is no teacher and no assignment. It is a conversation that one clinician guides.
Do I have to share my work?
No. Some members talk about their work and some never do. What you share is up to you.
What if I would rather start one to one?
That is fine. Many people meet a clinician first and decide about the group later.
Ready to ask about the group?
Write to us and say you are interested. We will tell you whether a place is open.
